You want the best for your children and I (Richard) am guessing you want parenting to be as fun and as calm as possible. Let’s be honest; sometimes parenting is a big stress and not much fun. I can’t promise that every moment will be enjoyable, but together I can help you enjoy the journey of being a parent while at the same time being more successful.
2 QUESTIONS FOR PARENTS…
1. Which 3 words describe your experience as a parent?
2. Which 3 words would you like to describe your parenting experience?
Parent coaching will help you move from your first answer to your second.
I’m a dad of three great, full of life, children but sometimes I struggle to know what to do with challenging behaviour. I admit I am not always happy with the way I respond to the stress of being a parent. Over the last decade, I have worked with large numbers of families and run numerous parenting courses which have helped me to learn what is helpful to parents and what puts a smile on parents’ faces. Where this learning has been most fruitful for me is as a dad. I shout less, see bad behaviours changed and have a whole lot more fun with my kids. I am not perfect, but I am enjoying being a parent and find parenting less stressful.
Let me be clear, I don’t want you to parent in the same way I do. I don’t have a ‘one-size-fits-all’ package because no two families are the same. I have knowledge and tactics for different areas of parenting, but one of the biggest lessons I have learnt is that each family has their goals and values. I will treat you and your family as individuals.
The parent coaching sessions we will have together will be about you, what you want for your children and how you want to parent them. I am here to help you be the sort of parent you want to be.
